- Frozen mangoes
- Pumpkin purée: Use homemade or canned.
- Apples: Diced apples to be blended.
- Sunflower seeds: Substitute for other nuts/seeds.
- Pecans: Substitute for other nuts/seeds.
- Ground cinnamon
- Ground nutmeg
- Ground ginger
- Pineapple mango juice: Optional
- Plant milk: Oat milk makes a creamier texture
How To Make Smoothie Cups
- Pulse/blend all the ingredients in a food processor/high-speed blender until the apples break down. Blend on low for a couple of minutes until thick and creamy.
- Slice an apple into thin circles, and then cut in half. Place on the sides of your serving cups, standing up. Then carefully pour the smoothie in the centre.
- Top off the cups with a pinch of cinnamon and a pecan. Grab a straw and spoon, and dig in!

1/2 cup frozen banana
1 cup frozen mangos
1/4 cup pumpkin purée
1/2 cup diced apples
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp pecans
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp pineapple mango juice – optional
1/2 cup plant milk – See Notes (1)

Any plant milk will work in this recipe. Oat milk seems to have a thicker/creamier consistency. So it’s best to use it in smoothies. - (2) Nuts & Seeds:
