Want to learn how to make a famous dish in Lebanon and one of their popular desserts with a plant-based twist?
In this cooking class, I will be sharing the recipe for Kibbeh, and the sweet Znoud el Sit.

Here is what you’ll need to prep ahead of the class:

Ingredients

  • Bulgur
  • TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)
  • Extra firm tofu
  • Pine nuts
  • Kibbeh spices (available at Middle Eastern stores)
  • Seven spices
  • Sumac
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Phyllo pastry
  • Plant milk (preferably Oat)
  • Silken tofu
  • Whole cloves
  • Rosewater
  • Pistachios (for garnish)

Equipment & Tools

  • Food processor

Note: the most essential ingredients and equipment are listed. However, it is expected that each person has common items available in the kitchen already (example: salt and pepper, knife and cutting board, cooking pan, etc.)

Join this cooking class to make Vegan Kibbeh (Stuffed Meatballs) and Vegan Znoud el Sit (Phyllo Cream Rolls).


Notes for attendees:

  • Cooking classes will be held online via Jitsi. Make sure to download and sign up ahead of time.
  • Please join at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. We will begin right away.
  • Make sure to read the document you receive upon placing the order to prep ahead of class.
