Here is what you’ll need for the class:

Ingredients

  • Medium firm tofu
  • Onions
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sumac (available at Middle Eastern stores)
  • Lemon (or lemon juice)
  • Pine nuts
  • Flour, instant yeast, salt, sugar, vegetable oil (or use tortilla instead)
  • Cashews
  • Tapioca flour
  • Nutritional yeast
  • Rosewater
  • Whole cloves
  • Kataifi (Shredded dough)
  • Dairy-free butter
  • Dairy-free mozzarella (optional)

Equipment & Tools

  • Cheese Grater
  • Food processor
  • Rolling pin
  • Sheet-pan for the oven
  • 9-inch circular pan

Note: the most essential ingredients and equipment are listed. However, it is expected that each person has common items available in the kitchen already (example: salt and pepper, knife and cutting board, cooking pan, etc.)
